As a Head of Business Development on our team you will be focused broadly on bringing in new business, getting product feedback, increasing credibility, and establishing new enterprise relationships for our proprietary global macroeconomic forecasting and investment platform. As a results-oriented SaaS sales professional, you will be leading our efforts to market and sell to individual investors, family offices, wealth management firms, and hedge funds. This role will work closely with the CEO to iterate on and implement the company’s go-to-market plan.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers and the internal team to iterate on the company’s product positioning
  • Set up partnerships for distribution and credibility building
  • Prepare and deliver professional Sales presentations and webinars to educate potential and existing partners
  • Leverage your personal network and generate sales opportunities
  • Create a deep understanding of current and potential client needs through solutions/consultative selling
  • Grow the company’s brand to become a leader in the economic modeling and investment industry

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of portfolio construction, investing strategies, and risk management
  • BS in related field or equivalent professional experience with a track record of success
  • 5-7 years of SaaS sales, business and/or marketing experience selling into and working within the financial sector
  • Experience in a venture backed tech startup scaling rapidly
  • Comfortable working with uncertainty and building processes from the ground up, creating something incredible where nothing stood before
  • Experience setting up partnerships for distribution, sales, marketing, and joint ventures
